Worlds Tallest Savannah Cat

World's Tallest Cat, a1savannahs.com

On Monday September 21, the Guinness Book of World Records documented a new record for the world’s tallest cat. The title goes to a majestic F1 Savannah cat from Corona, California.

The beautiful Savannah cat is named Scarlett’s Magic who is at 17.1 inches tall when standing up straight. The measurement is taken from the cat’s shoulder to toe. Scarlett has also been nominated for the world’s longest cat which is measured from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail.

Scarlett has a beautiful beige coat with lovely auburn spots. She is 18 months old and is extremely intelligent, affectionate and loving to her family.

A Savannah cat is a cross breed between a wild African Serval and a domesticated cat. They can weight up to 30 lbs and are one of the largest cat breeds. Each Savannah has a number that tells you how many generations it is from its ancestor, the African Serval. The smaller the number is, the closer the cat is to its ancestor.

Savannah cats are very active and have very few health issues due to low to no inbreeding. They enjoy playing in the water and love to take a walk outside the house. Owners of these cats need to provide them plenty of exercise and activities. Finally Savannah cats can learn things quickly. You can teach them to play fetch or walk on a harness. They will pick it up fairly easily.
