“My husband found an abandoned newborn kitten–placenta still attached!–and he scooped it up and brought home. I’ve been bottle feeding him for the past two weeks and he’s grown healthy and strong. My 3 year old daughter (Isobel) thought he was a baby squirrel and so named him ‘Squirrelly’,” said Carrie C.
“Caring for a newborn kitten is really demanding. He needs to be fed every 2-4 hours and can’t even urinate on his own.” Isobel has been a great helper. She loves Squirrelly and has learned to bottle feed him and care for him.

This is adorable. What a wonderful story and it’s great that Isobel is helping in her care.
That is very beautiful. It shows true compassion.
Isobel is so nice with the little cat. Hope she continues to take care of her new friend.
So sweet! Isobel (I love that name) is definitely going to grow up with a love for animals.
Oh, my goodness…TWO adorable babies! How wonderful…I have four grown-up *babies* & currently have three very special kitteh’s who really help to fill the void. Love, Meow
PS…one of my cats name is Isabelle!
I was going to say what Debra Olsen did about two adorable babies! That is one of the most precious things I’ve ever seen! Isobel and that baby kittie are going to have a long and happy life together! There’s nothing that promotes bonding with a kitten more than bottle-feeding one. The 2 I still have (9 years old!) really think I’m their mom! And of course, they’re my babies!

Yes, isn’t Isobel adorable feeding that kitten!?
Agree, they will no doubt have a wonderful bond…animals are the best teachers & they don’t have to “say” a word.
I betcha little Isobel will become either a veterinarian or something of the like to do with animals. She seems a natural with the bottle feeding of little “Squirrley”
What a beautiful story
Kudos to your hubby and especially to Isobel, who now has the most loving of BFF’s!
