Buster the dog is 13 years old and cannot move around much any more. Kitty the cat is always there for him, keeping him company every night.
Sometimes Buster would whine all night, but Kitty always comes to the rescue. “Its amazing… She usually sleeps with my sister but Buster would whine all night, so she started sleeping with him,” said their human on reddit. Kitty is like Buster’s little guardian angel, watching over him and comforting him. Maybe Kitty can sense that sometimes Buster is in discomfort so she purrs to help calm him down.

I had two cats and they tolerated each other, but when the male got sick and we knew it wouldn’t be long, the female cat would lay just outside his basket to keep an eye on him. When he passed she was the one that woke us up to let us know.

What some animals could feel we don’t know yet; A friend of mine has two cats, one much older than the other, and they are always keeping an eye one on the other. Best friends for ever. BTW, the kitty is precious.
