A tiny orphan kitten’s life was changed forever when a kind person found him in a culvert at Jacksonville University in Florida. She knew right away that she had to save him.

“This is an orphaned kitten adopted by my co-worker. She found him in a culvert just screaming his little head off and couldn’t just leave him there. After a search for the mother turned up nothing, she decided to bring him home. And to the office – he has to be fed every couple of hours and is still too young to use a bottle. He is so adorable,” said Carol White. (flickr)

She took him home and started caring for him round the clock. When she goes to work, she brings him along so that he can be fed every 2 hours.

A tiny kitten survived its first day of life despite being without a mother. The kitty is smaller than the size of a palm. The good Samaritans that saved the tuxedo, are trying to raise the little one and keep it alive.

“We have a heated bed/basket for the little one. My friend works at a vet and has tons of experience taking on these little lost causes,” said reddit user Bokonon532.

The kitty is now at the vet. “My friend is a vet tech and brought it in to work today. She has done this before and the cat is in good hands.”

They found this tiny kitten and are trying everything to keep the kitty alive.

When Eldad Hagar, rescuer who has fostered and saved hundreds of animals in his home in California, travelled to Israel for the rescue work there, a local firefighter pointed him to a litter of orphan kittens.

“A firefighter in Israel noticed that I was working with the cats on the streets, and pulled over. He told me that a couple of days ago he saw three kittens lying down near a dumpster as he was rushing to an emergency, and seeing me triggered that memory,” said Eldad who founded Hope for Paws.

“I rushed to the location expecting to find three dead kittens, but to my surprise, they were alive!!! I quickly scooped them up, took them to my car, and with help from Lilach we were able to save all three little black kittens.”

It’s a miracle that the kitties all survived and are now thriving under their care. “Soon they will start looking for a home.” Eldad is working on finding homes for all the kitties after they have grown big enough.

A 2 week old orphan tabby was spotted in a storm drain by a kind lady who ended up moving the 150 lb iron grate by herself in order to free the kitten and get the little one out to safety. “The neighbors thought I was crazy but, alas, here I am bottle feeding the little guy. I am in love,” said Kamaba via reddit.

No one knows exactly where the kitten came from. “I asked one of the neighbors if he knew what was up with this cat and apparently it’d been down there for a couple of days. He said they moved the grate and jumped down there but it kept running away. I ended up moving the grate by myself while he watched and was able to reach down and grab kitty instead of jumping in and scaring it.”

“I think the adrenaline of ‘Oh hell no, you’re not dying today, kitty’ kicked in and I made it work,” she added.

They have a forever home lined up for the kitty and the little tabby will continue to be bottle fed round the clock, loved and spoiled.
