Little Ash the cat was found behind the dumpsters when he was still a tiny kitten. He was dirty and hungry. “I found him as I was leaving a local bar,” said the human dad. He couldn’t leave him there, so took the little one home with him, and the rest is history.

First night at his forever home. He was given food and water. “I had an old towel I used for a makeshift bed.”

To make Ash feel more comfortable, he gave him a stuffed bunny to cuddle with and keep him company. “He loved this bunny.”

He also liked Kung Fu movies. “I brought him to a house I was remodeling and we would watch movies together.”

The kitty became more and more attached to his human dad. “He fell asleep trying to climb up my stomach.”

“He would always cuddle in my arm and pass out. Even when he got bigger he still would fall asleep on me.”

A rescue kitten finds an unlikely friend, a red iguana who doesn’t seem to mind having a little feline companion.

According to Kitty Army, the kitten named Ash was found in a dumpster. When James heard about this weeks old kitten that needed a home, he opened his door and welcomed her into his family.

That’s when Ash met Captain the lizard, and the rest is history.

“Two weeks ago, a local family was picking apples at Eckert’s, a popular nearby orchard, when they heard the unmistakable mews of tiny kittens. Unable to pinpoint the babies’ location, the rescuers sent their cell phones up and inside a large combine that was sitting unused, and took video of the caverns inside. This creative tactic helped them locate and save these four babies, whose mother had mysteriously passed away after finding safe harbor for them inside the farm equipment,” Tenth Life wrote on Facebook.

“When rescued, the orphaned kittens were starving, covered in fleas, and crying for their mama. Broken-hearted but determined, the rescuers brought the kittens home and hand-fed them to sustain their little lives. But the demands of neonates are great, and the kind people realized they needed the skilled help of a rescue.

Affectionately called The Apple Dumplin’ Gang, the kittens now wear the names Fuji, Braeburn, Gala, and Honeycrisp. They are now thriving under the expert care of two amazing foster parents (of Tenth Life).”

Nemo the cat was found all alone under a bush in San Francisco. The tiny kitten was skin and bones and very small for his age, but with plenty of love and food to fill his belly, Nemo’s finally making great strides.

Toni’s Kitty Rescue took Nemo into their care. Every 2-3 hours round the clock, they get Nemo ready for a new bottle. Food is vital for a kitten his age, and the fosterer of Toni’s Kitty Rescue makes sure that the little guy gets all the necessary nutrition he needs to thrive.

Nemo is small, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in personality. Before he was found, life was grim and he was hanging by a thread.

Now he “is so happy to be in a foster home getting lots of love,” Toni’s Kitty Rescue said.

This tiny kitten had a rough start in life, but was saved by kind people and eventually found love and a forever home thanks to police officers at Tampa Police Department.

“This cute kitty was tossed from a car to a panhandler on the corner. He flagged down an officer for help. But don’t worry, one of the responding officers is keeping the kitten,” said Tampa Police Department on Facebook.

Harley was found outside a house rejected by her mother. A kind person took her in and nursed her back to health. After a short period of fostering the little kitten, they knew they had to adopt her.

When the calico kitten was rescued, she was very tiny for her age and had an eye infection. “After getting her some eye drops from the vet and some much-needed nutrition, she quickly figured out how to meow.. which didn’t stop for the next three months,” said her new mom via imgur.

Harley had to be hand fed for a while until one day, she took her first bite of food all by herself. “Many tears were shed, no joke.”

Along the way Harley made a kitty friend who took to her like a dad. “Surprisingly, the roommate’s grumpy cat, Gandalf, took a liking to Harley and took to bathing her, letting her eat out of his food dish (when she figured it out), and putting up with her kitten playtimes. Now he is respectfully called Papa Gandy.”

A tiny baby kitten was found outside a house rejected by her feral mom. They took her in and named her Harley. She found a cuddle buddy to snuggle with.
