Meet Koko and YumYum! Both of them were born with a deformed hind leg, but nothing can stop these fuzzy little guys!

“Yesterday I stopped by Saving Grace Rescue Inc to meet these two – they are both tripods, and are missing their right foot in the back. They are named Koko and Yum Yum,” Josh Norem of the Furrtographer wrote.

“We think they might have had the umbilical cord wrapped around them during their development, so the foot never materialized. Needless to say it in now way impedes their mobility, or cuteness,” he added.

Meet Koko and YumYum. They are both missing a paw, but nothing can stop them!

You can’t see the missing foot but you can sort of tell there’s not a foot there, just a leg. It doesn’t slow him or her down at all.

Six kittens were found abandoned in a trash bag outside of the Indian Land Walmart. “They are about 8 days old. Ironically we have a female cat that lost her kittens on Thursday, we have put these babies with her and she fell in love,” Indian Land Animal Hospital wrote at Facebook.

“This is so heartwarming for us to watch her cuddle up with these orphans. All of them will need homes in about 7 weeks. They are so precious.”

At the same time, they had a ginger momma cat, Sandrine, who just lost her babies, so they placed the litter with the mama, hoping she would nurse them. She took to them right away!

“The 6 kittens are doing very well. They have names: Lil Jack (the runt), Louie Armstrong, John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Frank Sinatra, and Cricket. One of the tecnicians said it was their strong voices that saved them.”

“They are nursing but still getting fed by the technicians to supplement them. Sandy loves them so much; as we all do.”

A tiny rescue kitten has just adopted a tinier orphan kitten. Stitch the cat and Pinky the baby kitten are like each other, two little survivors, who have so much to live for.

Pinky was found in an attic by workers renovating a house. Sadly, she is the only surviving baby. Like Stitch, who is the only one that made it in her litter. When they found each other, it was love at first sight.

Carla the foster mom writes at Facebook: “(At Petco), there was a little girl and her mom with this tiny baby they had for 2 hours. The mom had no idea the baby needs bottle feedings and was buying all kinds of older kitty stuff. She’s a hairdresser and that means 10 hour days!

She asked if there was a place that would take her and her little girl started crying so what could I do? The lady wants her so I will bottle feed her until she’s on wet food.

They are curled up together now sleeping. Pinky is in good health for what she’s been through, about 2 weeks old. She has fleas but we got a lot off at the vet and she had a Dawn bath as soon as I got her home.

She’s very fiesty too! A little survivor like Stitch!

Meet Colin the runt of his litter orphaned when they were three days old. He is much smaller than his age, but what he lacks in size, he makes up with his personality!

“He is the sweetest little guy,” said Amy Bender, fosterer of Central Oklahoma Humane Society and pet mom of Sauerkraut the cat.

“Colin and his three siblings came to us as foster kittens through Central Oklahoma Humane Society. Their mother rejected them at three days old, so we have been bottle raising them.

Colin is the ‘runt’ of the group, and my personal favorite (shhhh, don’t tell the other kittens). He’s about five weeks old, but developmentally he’s closer to three and a half weeks. I’m hoping he’ll ‘catch up’ once he’s weaned, but even if he doesn’t, he’s still special.”

Little Colin and his siblings will be available for adoption, once they are big enough.

“Colin loves snuggling and play fighting with his sister Enya, though most of the time he bites off way more than he can chew!”

A litter of four kittens was rescued from the extreme heat by two caring law enforcement officers who discovered them in a box at the side of a road in South Florida. The temperatures of last Thursday hit 91 degrees (32.8 degrees C).

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office wrote via Facebook: “At 2:46 this afternoon, Captain Keith Day and Deputy Justin Adams were patrolling in the area of Santa Maria Dr. and S. Tamiami Trail. Captain Day saw a cardboard box off to the side of the road. Inside the box was a litter of kittens that had been abandoned. The kittens are currently enjoying the comfort of Captain Day’s car (and air conditioning) as they await the arrival of Lee County Domestic Animal Services.”

All four kittens have been placed in foster care. They were a bit shy and “hissy” when they arrived in the shelter, but they appeared to be healthy.

The kittens are 3-4 weeks old and will be put up for adoption when they are ready.

This beautiful ginger cat mama was pregnant and living on the street. When she was discovered, she quickly ran into a loading dock at a local mall. Shortly after that, she went into labor and gave birth to six kittens.

They couldn’t open the loading dock because it would have crushed the Mama, so they called Cats at the Studios Rescue of Burbank, California for help.

Mama cat was safely rescued and three of her kittens survived. They are now living in a foster home, happy, healthy and loved.

She already has a home lined up, but her kittens will need their forever homes once they are old enough for adoption.

Two tiny kittens were abandoned in a yard but were taken in by a Chihuahua who became their surrogate mom.

Lucy Liu, the Chihuahua, met the two little black kittens after they were brought home by Jamie Apfel, an animal vet tech for the Hi Tor Animal Shelter. Her pet dog Lucy immediately fell in love.

“She does everything a mom cat would do,” Jamie told Fox 12. “Needless to say, these kittens are not going to be afraid of dogs.”

Lucy’s motherly instinct kicked in and started caring for her new babies. “I was blown away,” she said.

“I don’t know how well she’s going to do when they leave her,” Jamie added. “She’s very very attached to them.”
