Hope the kitty is now happy in her pink bandages covering most of her left side. She is recovering and getting better after being rescued by the Nebraska Humane Society that treated her injuries and gave her new hope in life.
"Last week a caring citizen brought an injured 10-week-old kitten to the Nebraska Humane Society. After a medical exam, our vets determined that Hope was suffering from severe burns on the left side of her tiny body. What caused the burns we don't' know for sure, but what matters right now is this kitten is receiving the best care from our animal medical team as her burns are cleaned and new bandages are put on twice a day. We'll continue to keep you updated on Hope as she continues to heal," the shelter wrote on Facebook.
Even after what Hope has gone through she "has had a great attitude through the treatments and has a home lined up with her veterinarian if the woman who initially found Hope isn't interested in adopting the kitten," Omaha.com reported.
