After 261 days at the shelter, this 15-year-old half blind girl finally found something she'd been waiting for...
Cleopatra went through quite a journey before she finally found her forever home. At 15 years old, this Siamese cat had stayed in the shelter for almost 9 months.
"Her paperwork shows that she was picked up as a stray, returned to owner, and then the owner returned her to the shelter. We don't know why," Karyn Poplin of Kitty Adventure Rescue League (a cat sanctuary for disabled, special needs, and elderly cats) told Love Meow.
As soon as Poplin learned about the kitty, she took her in so the old girl could have a loving, comfortable home she so deserves.
"She's got a crotchety old lady meow, loves getting up high above everything, and is just happy to have a warm bed to call her own."

She's around 15 years old and completely blind in one eye due to cataracts.
Cleopatra is no longer living in a cage. She loves to get high above everything, supervising the house.
"Cleopatra seemed very thankful for attention and doesn't mind other cats at all.
"She's very attention loving, but loves basket sleeping more than anything," Poplin told Love meow.
Loving her forever home and her very own basket :).
