This beautiful calico kitty has a pair of eyes as if she can see beyond limits.
Meet Jasmine.
Jasmine was found wandering the streets by rescuers. Soon they discovered that she was blind.
"My mother saw a photo of Jasmine on Facebook from Association Adoption Feline and immediately showed it to me. She stole my heart right at that instant. After getting in touch with the foster family, we set up an appointment to meet her," Sandra Coudray told Love Meow.
They knew sweet Jasmine deserves a loving home just as much as any other kitty.
"The foster family explained that she was blind, but to me she is no less than any other cats. I immediately wanted to adopt her knowing that she was blind as I previously lived with a cat who had become blind with age," Coudray said.
"When I saw her, she was even more beautiful than the pictures. After completing the adoption papers, we left with her."
Jasmine lost her eye sight most likely due to her tough life living as a stray.
The fluffy cat was found on the streets, fending for herself. Living without proper care and nutrition might have been the cause of her blindness, but the beautiful calico girl doesn't let anything slow her down.
She has come a long way since they found her. The kitty went from being scared of human contact and unable to tolerate other cats and dogs to now loving cuddles and kisses and doing very well with other pets.
All it took was a bit of love and a second chance at life.
Jasmine has grown very attached to Coudray.
She snuggles next to her human mom every night and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
"Last time I went to Normandy for a few days to see my family and left her in the care of my brother. She waited for me on my bed most of the day everyday," Coudray told Love Meow.
She may be blind, but she can "see" through her other senses.
"Now she can not do without us, and we can't do without her. She brings us so much joy and love."
