An abandoned super senior cat got a second chance at life at the age of 21. A couple found him and gave him a loving home and a wonderful life that he always wanted.
Meet Tigger the cat!
Tigger was adopted at the ripe age of 21. The ginger old boy was abandoned just a few months before at a local vet office. When Adriene and her boyfriend learned about his story, they made a split second decision to adopt him.
The couple had a 6-year-old cat, Stuart, and thought Tigger would be the perfect companion to their cat.
Tigger was very scrawny and in poor shape when he arrived in his new home. After taking him to the vet, they discovered that his kidney was failing, but with medication and a proper diet, the senior cat began to put on weight and thrive.
They also found a tumor but Tigger refused to let anything slow him down as he lives his life like a 12 year old cat. The couple are determined to give Tigger the best life so he could enjoy all his favorite things.
A year later, on November 19th, Tigger turned 22!
They celebrated his birthday with a chicken cake topped with patte.
"Tiggs and Stuart chowed down together and got a little meat drunk," Adriene said.
"He likes to hold on to mommy during tv time.... all the time."
Holding paws.
Thanksgiving last year, they took Tigger to the beach to sunbathe and walk along the water all afternoon. "He loved it!" This year Tigger is spending his second Thanksgiving with the people he loves.

The couple created a bucket list for Tigger and have crossed quite a few adventures off the list. His favorite was the trip they took together to the beach.

Tigger has received a lot of wonderful gifts from his human admirers through his Facebook page.
A fan from Australia sent him a cuddly platypus, and Tigger cuddles it to sleep like his own baby.
But above all, Tigger's favorite cuddle buddy has to be his human mom.
He'd rather nap on his human's shoulder than sleep in his own bed.
"We can't believe we have gotten the chance to spend another birthday with our old man. He's such an amazingly sweet, hilarious, and loving soul.
"He's one of the best decisions we have ever made."
"Someone missed daddy when he left town.... he will paw you until you love him."
