A tiny kitten was found wrapped in a napkin on a family's doorstep. "He was so tiny he fit in our hand with room to spare."
Meet Soul Patch!
A few weeks ago, a family from Louisiana couldn't believe it when they opened the door to a crying kitten on their doorstep.
"Somebody left him wrapped in a napkinā¦ Both of his eyes had cysts in them, he was caked in scabs, and he was so malnourished he couldn't walk," reddit user ArchChronicles told Love Meow.
They immediately brought him inside, fed him and gave him a much-needed bath.
"We cleaned him up and picked off what felt like hundreds of fleas before we wrapped him up in a warm blanket and let him sleep."
The kitten was exhausted and emaciated. The family made sure that he survived by feeding him every few hours.
"He ate an entire can of kitten food in a matter of minutes, though lots of it was smeared on his face from excitement," ArchChronicles told Love Meow.
Over the next few days, his eyes started to clear up and he began to put on weight and build up his strength.
"In a matter of weeks he was all healed up, seeing clearly and running around like he should be."
Little Soul Patch was so scrawny and could barely open his eyes when they found him... Look at him now!
They may never know what happened to him before he arrived, but they know that he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
Little Soul Patch has found his forever home and a feline buddy to cuddle with every day.
