This kitty was saved thanks to the firefighters didn't think twice about it when they learned the kitty was inside the burning apartment home. "Another family member, we like to take care of our family in Grand Island. Any pet, any person we can help, we're willing to do that, part of our job," said Fire Chief Cory Schmidt.
It was an emotional reunion when the cat was returned to the owner.
The kitty was inside a burning building. The Grand Island firefighters went to the rescue right away and didn't give up until they safely brought the cat to safety, giving the cat oxygen.
They didn't think twice about it. "Another family member, we like to take care of our family in Grand Island. Any pet, any person we can help, we're willing to do that, part of our job."
The kitty was reunited with his owner.
It was an emotional reunion.
