A tiny tortie kitten hid in a car engine during Hurricane Matthew.
When firefighters were alerted about the kitten, they got her out to safety and gave her a roof over her head.
The little tortie was hiding in the car when the storms hit Orange County, Florida. She was taking shelter in the car engine compartment until firefighters found her and took her into their care.
"A vet has cleared the kitten of any health issues, and says it is about 6 weeks old. We are looking for a home for this kitten," Orange County Fire Fighters Association said.
As for now, the crew is looking after the little rescue kitten, giving her all the cuddles and love she wants.
Happy and loved.
Little tortie is grateful for a second chance at life.
She's returning the favor by 'helping' her human friends around the office.
She's now looking for a home.
