A rescued kitten was so happy when he found a feline friend he always wanted.
Chaos the kitty was born to a neighborhood stray. He was the only kitten that survived in his litter. Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a rescue group in Montreal, Canada, took him in so he could have chance at a better life.
After a trip to the vet, he was given antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection and transported to his foster home.
"He quickly settled in and really enjoyed his new home living as an indoor cat," Chatons Orphelins Montréal shared with Love Meow.
"He was always eager for attention and hugs."
The sweet kitty constantly looked for his foster mom and didn't want to be alone. "He loves hugs and attention. If he doesn't get what he wants, he will scream until he's cuddled."
Knowing he would do better with a friend, they began to look for other kittens or another singleton to pair him up with.
A few weeks ago, a little stray was found by a family and brought to the rescue. The little guy, named Arlo, was just skin and bones.
He was in need of foster care, and Coco, Chaos' foster mom, stepped up to help. He was nursed back to health and grew in size and energy.
As soon as he was introduced to other kittens, he was so excited and tried to keep up with them despite being much smaller. He was eager to be loved and have someone to cuddle.
When he met Chaos, they instantly clicked.
Despite being younger and smaller, Arlo was just as playful as Chaos. The two hit it off right away and started to do everything together.
Chaos took on the role of big brother and showed little Arlo how to play like a cat.
"They play together and cuddle when they nap. They are always on the lookout for more mischief. They are a beautiful duo," the rescue said.
"Arlo is very mischievous and likes to chase Chaos all over the house. He will paw him to get his attention or to annoy him," the rescue added. "Arlo copies everything his big brother does, and they are like partners in crime."
Sweet Chaos is so happy now that he has a friend who clings to him like Velcro. The rescue hopes to find them a loving home together.
