A tiny kitten was meowing for help when a news crew from Fox 17 Nashville was about to do a live broadcast on side of I-24 highway.
The kitten's cry alerted reporter Sabrina Hall and she just had to investigate.
Sabrina spotted a tiny ginger kitten in the bush next to the busy highway all by himself.
The kitten was covered in fleas and ticks. Photographer Daniel Sullivan also came to care for the kitten and removed a tick from his eye.
The kitten began to follow Sabrina everywhere she went but was a bit afraid to be picked up at first.
Eventually Sabrina was able to reach out to the kitten and safely retrieve the little ball of fur.
She took the kitten home, cleaned out all the fleas with a bath and gave him a full belly that night.
The kitten also made a new friend who was completely smitten with him.
Sabrina's dog took to the little rescue kitten and started caring for him. It was love at first sight.
"It's time for a mandatory bath!"
They quickly found the kitten a new home, and named him Jeff.

Happy and loved!
