In just three months, this once neglected Himalayan cat grew back her glorious fluff. This is the difference love can make!
A cat was turned up to the shelter with matted fur and was only skin and bones. "The shelter said (she was) 4-5 years old," Michelle U. told Love Meow.
When they met this very friendly kitty at the local no-kill shelter, she was in need of a lot of care and love.
"She was dropped off a few days before I took her home. She was dumped on them flea ridden, her fur in horrible condition and extremely skinny." (More info on reddit)
When their paths crossed... The kitty stole their hearts instantly!
The kitty came to the shelter with a slightly bent ear. "Looks like she is always going to have a crinkle ear as a symbol of what she had to go through."
First day at her forever home!
3 months later...
"It's incredible what TLC has done for her. I never would've guessed the cat I brought home would've turned out like that. Her fur is easily 2.5-3 inches long now at it's longest points. It's crazy!" Michelle said.
"It's like caring for a cloud. The softest and warmest ball of fluff to cuddle with."
"It was nearly three months later when I took the 'after' photo and the progress is insane. I am so happy I brought her home!"
