A tiny shelter kitty helped a man propose the day before Thanksgiving, as the couple met two years ago on Thanksgiving day.
Meet Gandalf the kitten and his new human mom.
The couple met on a blind date Thanksgiving 2014. Jerad knew from the start that Kat was the only one for him. As cat lovers, they planned to adopt a kitten through a local shelter, but Jerad decided to get a little help from the feline buddy on his adoption day.
When Kat came in to pick up little Gandalf, she was given the biggest surprise. "Kat thought she was being filmed for an adoption video...but we knew otherwise," the SPCA (Erie County, NY) shares with Love Meow.
"I was very surprised! His aunt works at the SPCA and was fostering the kitty, and we fell in love with him," Kat Woodley told Love Meow.
"I thought Jerad was at work and he surprised me by showing up and proposing. Gandalf's name tag said 'Will you marry me?' It was so cute."
Little Gandalf bore a message on his name tag.
Jerad showed up right after Kat read the tag from the kitty.
He got down on his knee and proposed...
She said "Yes!" while holding little Gandalf in her arms.
The happy couple and their fur baby are excited about their new chapter in life.
Gandalf looks at his human dad and gives him his approval.
"Well done, dad!"

"Gandalf is doing great! He's adjusting well," Kat told Love Meow. "He's running around and getting use to his new home."
Two years ago today the couple found each other. Now they are going to share their lives together with a little fur buddy who offered a helping paw for their very special day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
