How did you pick your cats' names?
There are popular names that are chosen over and over by cat owners. Many of them can be used for both male and female cats.
Most of cat owners pick their names according to their cats' appearance. Anything that is special or remarkable about their coat, color, eyes, ears, tail or the like may be an inspiration for naming their beloved feline friends.
Others may name their cats based on how their cats were found. For example, the two kittens that survived a truck crushing incident were named crush and smash.
There are names chosen based off of cats' behavior. A feisty kitten may wind up getting Feisty as his name. A vocal kitten may end up being called Rowdy or Howley. A mischievous cat fits quite well with Rascal as his name.
Cat owners tend to pick a name that sounds cute and fitting to their cats. There are names that are frequently chosen by cat owners.
