Sandi Zani, a resident from Pensacola, Florida heard the tiniest chirps coming from her garden. She thought it was a bird at first but was surprised to find a tiny ball of fur, whimpering and breathing.
It was June last year when Sandi heard the kitten's cry in her backyard. "When it kept crying I went out to investigate and found a little ball of fluff in my rose bushes next to the catio," Sandi told Love Meow.
She didn't know exactly how the kitten ended up there as her yard was completed fenced in, but she knew that the kitten needed immediate care.
Sandi quickly fashioned a makeshift nursery bin with a cardboard box and a towel and rushed to the store to get some kitten formula so the little fur baby could start feeding.
That night, the house was filled with tiny chirps as Sandi got up every two hours to feed the kitten.
She named him Kieran Von Fluffypaws.
The vet determined that he was around two weeks old and needed round-the-clock feeding and care.
Sandi's friend Kimberly came to help care for the little guy while she was at work.
The kitten quickly took a liking to his human mom's shoes especially those with laces.
Kieran was very brave as a kitten - fearless little panther baby!
At the vet's, he would walk on the desk to offer staff a helping paw.
Kieran's three siblings, Pooter, Gilligan and Sophia, took him under their wing.
Learning from his big brother, Pooter.
Mischievous little youngster tries to climb mom's leg.
When the kitten calms down, it is time for snuggles.
Just like Kieran, his feline siblings are also rescues.
"I joke that I don't have to go to the shelter to rescue cats because they all seem to find me," Sandi told Love Meow.
Rawr!
He liked to cling to his mom's leg then...
All grown up now, some things never change.
The tiny ball of fluff has grown into a handsome house panther!

The supurrvisor is surveying the kitchen, keeping critters at bay.
"I can't believe how quickly Kieran has grown into a beautiful sleek house panther. I may have rescued him but he saved me in return."
