Blind Kitten Healing Thanks To Saving Grace

Tiny Schmoo came to Saving Grace Rescue Inc unable to see due to an eye infection, but the little calico is now healing and beginning to see more.

Saving Grace Rescue, a rescue group located in San Francisco, put her on treatment to help alleviate the pain and her eyes to heal. Though she's still partially blind, she's healing and getting stronger every day. "…the healing lesions an be seen on her eyes. The bright red is a good healthy sign that her eye is getting what it needs to recover," the shelter wrote on their Facebook.

When Schmoo came to Saving Grace Rescue, she couldn't see at all.

The little one is full of love and affection. When photographer Josh Norem went to visit Schmoo, she turned into a purr motor. "…Schmoo ran right up to me as soon as I walked in the door. When I picked her up she began purring up a storm too," said Josh.

She ignored all the toys in order to attempt to climb into Josh's lap to cozy up with her human friend. "She is one of the most affectionate and friendly kittens I have ever met," Josh added.

Even though Schmoo can't see fully, she has no problem getting around. Her sight doesn't hinder her from being a happy and loving kitty that she is.

She started to heal up extremely well and began to see more.

She hoped to have someone who could love her unconditionally and forever.

Then one day she met her foster dad...
