Eligibility:

Since the prizes will be shipped via Amazon.com, there are restrictions for standard shipping where cat toys cannot be shipped outside North America from the U.S.. If you reside in the U.S. or Canada, you are eligible to join this contest, or if you have an address in the U.S. or Canada where the prizes can be mailed to, you are also welcome to join. Otherwise, don't worry, I will make sure next time, there will not be shipping restrictions, so anyone could participate.

However, no matter where you are, you can surely vote for your favorite cat sleeping pose photos and help determine the two winners. Here is how it works:

How to participate:

You are the photographer and your cat(s) are your models. In this task, you will snap pictures of your cat(s) while they are sleeping. Cats love giving us funny poses and showing off their contorted body during their nap time. If you have multiple cats, you will have lots of opportunities to get great shots.

There are a few rules:

1. You must be the photographer and claim the copyrights of the photo
2. Your photo cannot be altered, or re-touched (b/w, sepia are ok)
3. There must be at least one real cat in the photo
4. No obscenity, violence, or any inappropriate content on the photo
5. (Optional, but may win you a surpise award) In order to identify the authenticity of your photo, when you take your pictures, please place a sign with "LoveMeow.com" written on it and include it in the picture. You can draw it on a piece of paper, a cardboard box, a fruit or whatever you can think of. The more creative you make the sign, the higher chances you will win the surprise award.   (see below)

How to submit your photo:

Take as many photos of your cat(s)' sleeping poses as you'd like, then pick one of your favorites and submit it to the below email address by September 19, 2009:

I will post the qualified photos to my blog and allow all of you to vote for your favorite cat sleeping poses. The voting period will start on September 21 and end on September 26. The two Winners will be announced on September 28.
