A cat was given a new start with her four tiny ones. Delighted, she even began "helping" around the office.

About a month ago, a beautiful tuxedo family arrived at the Stray Cat Club (an all-volunteer cat rescue) for a chance at a better life.

They were found being given away because their previous owners no longer wanted them. "Thankfully, one of our vigilant volunteers acted quickly, ensuring this little family could be brought to safety," the Stray Cat Club shared.

The cat, Ruby, warmed up to her foster family when she realized they were there to help her and her kittens.

Ruby had multiple litters before being rescued, but this will be her last. Once her kittens are big enough to spread their wings, she will finally get to relax and enjoy a carefree life.

When she arrived, she was very underweight and depleted from feeding four hungry kittens. Her foster carers immediately started her on a proper feeding routine to help her regain strength.

"Unfortunately, she doesn't have much milk, and the family had been feeding the kittens adult cat food, even though they were too young to start weaning."

After a few days of attentive care and nourishing food, Ruby began to fill out, and her milk production improved. The kittens were given the right food for their age and treatment to soothe their tummy troubles.

Once Ruby and her mini-mes were back on track, they decided to hang around the office desk whenever someone was at the computer. "Ruby and her boys are the cutest productivity blockers."

Instead of lounging in a cozy cat bed, Ruby nestled comfortably on the desk, between the monitor and the keyboard, while her kittens swarmed around to nurse.

Ruby stayed close to her people, even with her four little ones nursing, always ready to lend a helping paw.

"While she's not quite a lap cat yet, we believe she'll get there in time - she's incredibly affectionate, always offering head and body rubs. She has done an amazing job raising her kittens."

Ruby and her boisterous four have officially taken over the desk, offering purrs and snuggles as their special brand of assistance. The kittens follow in their mom's paw steps, napping by the monitor and filling the room with their rumbling purrs.

With her gentle and sweet nature, Ruby makes the perfect office companion.

They make sure their human is never alone while working, being front and center on the desk. Their constant purring serves as the sweetest melody.

The kittens now spend their days romping, wrestling, and tumbling with boundless energy. Ruby watches contentedly from her favorite perch on the desk, reigning over the scene like a true queen.

As soon as Ruby steps off her throne, the kittens take over, mimicking their mom as the office's next little rulers.

All the kittens have been matched with wonderful homes, while Ruby continues her search for a forever family that will love and pamper her endlessly. She's ready to retire from motherhood and enjoy being the center of attention.
