A tiny kitten who was found alone in a bush, has blossomed into a beautiful young cat.

A kind lady from Canada heard a faint cry coming from outside late one night. Upon investigation, she discovered a newborn kitten in a bush, all alone. The Good Samaritan waited for the cat mom but she never came back.
The next morning, the kitten continued to cry for her mother but there was still no sight of her. The kitten could have been left behind or dropped by the mom while she was moving her babies. The finder scooped her up and immediately sought help.
She was able to get in touch with an animal rescuer who volunteered to transport the kitten to Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a cat rescue in Montreal.

"They gave the kitten a second chance at life, and the little one arrived with a warm water bottle next to her. She was so hungry that she threw herself at the milk bottle, trying desperately to eat," Celine Crom of Chatons Orphelins Montréal shared with Love Meow.
They named the kitten Carla and the little calico showed an amazing fighting spirit from the start.

She was so young that her eyes hadn't opened, but she could find the bottle with her incredible sense of smell, and would scarf down as much food as she could fit in her tiny belly.
Carla was just the size of a Q-tip, tiny but oh so mighty.

"Her foster mom bottle-fed her every two hours. From the beginning, the kitten loved to be near her human and to be petted. She recognized her foster mom by her scent and constantly cried for her attention and extra cuddle time."
Carla was very small but had a strong, convincing voice.

The kitten quickly put on weight and gained strength. Once she figured out how to use her legs, she started climbing furniture and even used pillows as her little kitty fort.
"She loves taking naps under the cushions and she loves talking to her foster mom whenever she gets a chance."

The sweet calico has her humans wrapped around her finger. She embodies the sassy cattitude of a calico and isn't shy about voicing her many opinions.
"Carla is a little princess who is not afraid of anything. She is curious and mischievous, and wants to inspect everything she comes across," Celine shared with Love Meow.

"She was just one day old when she was found, and has been very close to people since. It took her a long time to let go of her bottle as she wants to do things at her own pace."

"Whenever she craves attention, she knows how to get it by rubbing her face against her people and purring up a storm," Celine said.
Hanging out with her human before bedtime is one of her favorite activities.

"She will hop on the bed and curl up next to her human every night before she goes to sleep."
Carla is 10 weeks old now and almost ready to find a place of her very own.
