A family from Canada had quite a surprise two weeks ago when they found three little kittens hanging out on a farm.
Sylvie saw a kitten running around the property without a mother in sight, but the little one was not alone. Two other kittens followed right behind her. She immediately called her daughter Vicky for help.
As soon as the kittens saw the people coming their way, they made a beeline to them and started following them around, like tenacious little ducklings. They were meowing nonstop as if they were begging for food and attention.
They would hop onto their humans' lap and even attempted to crawl onto their shoulders. Vicky looked around the area for other kittens but couldn't find anymore.

Knowing how young the kittens were, the family decided to wait for the cat mother to return. After many hours, there was still no sign of her. They brought the kittens inside the farm and placed them in a secure area.
The little ones were about three weeks old and would need round-the-clock care. Vicky made a makeshift cat house for the trio and brought them a warm bed, blankets and toys.

Vicky reached out to Chatons Orphelins Montréal, an animal rescue in Montreal, while she took care of the feeding duties. She was unable to adopt any more cats but couldn't stand leaving these little guys out to fend for themselves.
Over the next few days, Vicky came to the farm frequently with kitten formula and canned cat food to nurse the feline babies back to tip-top shape.
As soon as she walked in, all three furballs would get up from their comfy nest and come running to their food provider.

When their bellies were full, the trio would hop onto Vicky's lap together and nuzzle in for a snuggle session.
Vicky brought the kittens home a few days later, so they could get a much-needed bath and more time with her. After getting all cleaned up, the kitties were wrapped in towels like purritos and cuddled away in bliss.

The feline siblings adjusted wonderfully to indoor life. They wanted constant attention from Vicky and could hardly wait for a second when it came to meal time. As soon as they heard the can opening, they cried in unison for food and started climbing their human's legs.

"She took great care of the kittens with so much love and kindness. She really saved their lives," Celine Crom of Chatons Orphelins Montréal shared with Love Meow. "The kittens have all gained weight and exceeded 500 grams."

They do everything as a trio, and always curl up in a cute cuddle puddle when they nap.
