A TNR (trap-neuter-return) rescuer found a tiny kitten wandering around in a cat colony in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas took in the 3-week-old tortoiseshell after she was rescued through a TNR project. The outdoors is no place to live for such a tiny kitten. Upon arrival, the sweet bundle of fur immediately started seeking attention and cuddles from everyone around her.
At such a young age, she would need round-the-clock care from a foster parent and a comfortable, warm home where she could have someone to cuddle and socialize.
Nikki Martinez, a Las Vegas based rescuer/foster, was visiting Hearts Alive Village when she heard about the kitten. "They asked me if I'd like to see a 3-week-old baby that had just arrived without a mother," Nikki told Love Meow.

The kitty was in need of foster care, so Nikki grabbed a carrier and a blanket, put the crying feline baby inside and was ready to bring her home.
The little tortie was named Roni after the song by Bobby Brown.

Sweet Roni quickly settled into her new abode. She was bottle fed every few hours but wanted to snack on big kitten food as well.
"(She's at) the age where the bottle is still used but they seem to want more substance. Roni wants something she can sink her teeth into," Nikki added.

They set up a secure and comfy space for the kitten and gave her a snuggle toy so she would not feel alone.
Every morning, Roni greets Nikki with the sweetest meows as she's excited about breakfast and a long cuddle session afterwards.
"She is the easiest baby. Her little cattitude is starting to shine through," Nikki said.

Now at about four weeks old, Roni is getting more curious and adventurous.

The TNR rescuer is working to catch the cat mother and any siblings so they can all receive the help they need.
"If you find kittens and decide to bring them inside to safety, it's so important that the mother is trapped and spayed to stop the cycle,"Nikki said. "Fostering saves lives and TNR saves more."

Roni has been in foster care for about a week and is loving her new chapter of life.
They took her off the streets away from the harsh elements of the outdoors. Look at her now!
