A tiny ginger kitten was trapped between walls, but thanks to two rescuers from the Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team. The kitty is now in good hands.
"This SMART (Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team) was called out to rescue a small kitten that had fallen between the walls of a planter in an apartment complex.
Nav and Mr. Fox began the delicate extraction using their custom fabricated 'Flex Catch' grabber.
The kitten, at first seen six feet at the bottom on top of an old cell phone, moved under a pile of debris and rocks making the rescue attempt more difficult.
After some patience and tool modifications, Mr. Fox made the grab!
The kitten was reunited with his siblings and all are on their way to a foster," Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team Los Angeles wrote via Facebook.
An update: "She was born to stray cat that we are trying to trap. We were able to scoop all kittens, but this cutie ran. Thanks to these 2 angels we saved them. They are now being fostered. Our concern is the poor mother, she is trap wise. Once fixed, she has 2 offers for a home," said Alice Hagerman via Facebook.
