These 7 babies were saved thanks to rescuers who found their mama living on a small back porch.
"We got a call. A pregnant mother was living on a small back porch with no heat in the middle of winter. She still was taking care of her two 6 month old kittens from a previous litter and was about to give birth to new kittens any day," Missy of Here Kitty Kitty Rescue (in Elkhart, Indiana) told Love Meow.

"Luckily, Here Kitty Kitty Rescue was able to take the mother and one of the older babies to our facility. The other older baby had a home waiting for her. We waited anxiously for the babies to be born. When the mother, Lottie, went into labor we stayed by her side to make sure everything went well.
"It was about 1/2 way through the delivery we noticed most of the kittens did not have tails!"
Four out of seven were born without a tail or with a stub. They are part Manx.
