Two tabby brothers saved from a garbage bin are now following their rescuers everywhere they travel and have become adventure cats.
Danielle and Kayleen told Love Meow: "Bolt and Keel were found behind a garbage bin at a local park in Victoria, BC and were clearly abandoned. They were about a month old at this point. We were planning on taking them to the shelter but it wasn't open after work."
The next day they were scheduled to leave for a trip but couldn't find a home in time for the kitties. There was only one thing they knew they could do...
"We left on a camping, canoeing, and hiking trip and didn't have anywhere to leave them so we brought them with us!" they told Love Meow.
The kitties who had completely bonded with their rescuers at the time, wanted nothing more than staying with their humans.
To their surprise, the kitties' personality came out as they traveled and the two brothers had a lot of fun throughout the adventure. "We fell in love with them and couldn't bear to take them to a shelter so we kept them forever," they told Love Meow.
