"Whidbey the cat has a limp from an injury that never healed properly. She had been at the shelter and passed over for awhile."
J and M Beck told Love Meow.
Because of her limp, she was overlooked and her stay continued month after month. When J and M Beck (who have a Beagle at home) saw the kitty, they were told that this cat couldn't get along with dogs.

"I've had cats for 25 years. When I had time with her at the shelter she saw dogs and could have cared less," said Beck told Love Meow.
"Something told me she'd be fine with the dog. Glad I was right."
Soon after they met, they bonded.

"We walked her in the door and they immediately sniffed one another."
The Beagle spent hours inching closer to make new friends with the kitty!
