His name is Van Gogh. They don't know why he's missing an ear, but this 7-year-old shelter cat is simply perfect. He has a brother named Picasso, 7. There is just one thing that is missing for them...

They are still looking for their forever loving home.

"Van Gogh and Picasso were surrendered to our shelter together on May 7, 2015. They are a bonded pair and don't know life without each other," Samantha Luhmann, Community Outreach Coordinator of Coulee Region Humane Society, told Love Meow.

"Picasso is in good health, but Van Gogh was diagnosed with Herpes Viral Conjunctivitis, which is why his eye looks goofy. He'll need eye drops indefinitely. We are unsure about why he's missing an ear -- his former owners adopted him seven years ago that way."

Van Gogh only has one ear, but he is full of affection. He and his brother give the cutest purrs in harmony.

"Van Gogh and Picasso lived in the communal room at our shelter for several months before they went into a foster home. Because they have been available for adoption for so long we thought it'd be best to give them a change of pace."

They have been waiting to be adopted for almost 6 months.

Van Gogh is the shyer one compared to Picasso, but always very friendly.

"Van Gogh and Picasso are very sweet and affectionate." Now what they need is a place they call their forever home.

If you would like to meet with Van Gogh and Picasso in person, you can call the shelter at 608-781-4014 and ask to speak with Arika the foster care coordinator.
