A woman from Indiana found a stray cat outside her boyfriend's house on a cold winter day early February.
When she went to check on the feline, she realized that the cat was heavily pregnant.

Cassie D. spotted the cat sitting out in the bitter cold temperatures on a fence outside the house. "The snow was very high all around the fence and the kitty didn't know how to get down without disappearing into the abyss of the snow pile," Jennifer Gillispie, founder of Here Kitty Kitty Rescue, shared with Love Meow.
Cassie noticed that the cat was pregnant with a belly so large that it looked as if she would go into labor any moment. She carefully helped the cat down from the fence and then reached out to her friend at Here Kitty Kitty Rescue in Elkhart, Indiana to see if they could help.
They brought the expectant cat mom to the rescue on February 12th. As soon as they arrived, the cat went into labor.

"She began to push even before she got out of the carrier, talk about timing. Upon getting into the warmth of her new home she continued into labor."
The cat mama started cleaning and nursing her newborns. One after another, Mama gave birth to a litter of four kittens in the comfort of a warm home.

The kittens were healthy and having excellent appetite. They kept their mama very busy with their demanding meows for attention and food.
"These newborns have a great set of lungs," the rescue said. [Scroll down for video]

After 24 hours, the kittens were eating well and had already put on weight. The mama cat was as sweet as can be, kneading away with her paws in pure bliss while nursing her babies.
"She really is amazing. She's great for conversations and cuddles! Purrs constantly," Cassie said.
