These two kittens were spotted when Giane Portal was on her way to work. “I saw an adorable but very thin cat meowing on the street. To my surprise, she had two babies with her. I was not too far away from home, so I decided to get some food and a box to try to rescue the entire family.”
They were named Shun and Bo. Now they are living with Giane Portal and a house of many wonderful rescued cats.

What happened to the mother?
@dawn: I tried to rescue her, but unfortunately she run away. I tried to find her on the other day and many days to come – and it was impossibel to catch her. Good news is that months after the rescue, I was walking by the street again and so her, all furry and beautiful. I discovered that she had a home BUT had acess to the street, which is very dangerous for cats…
Maybe someone has been feeding her? Feral cats are really hard to trap. I remember you told me there are a few feral colonies in your area. You are amazing Giane. I hope there are more ppl like you.
Amy,I had my doubts if she was really a feral, because when she saw me the first time, she started meowing asking for food. I really think she was just careful in not trusting completely a stranger… When I saw her again, she had a really gorgeous fur. She was alson on house yard. I think she was that kind of cat that could go out, and she had her babies on the street. I found them of a yard of a school that was next to the house I met her months later.

Giane Portal, I think I've saluted you many times before and am saluting you again. Please don.t seperate them, they look so happy together. If only I am in your city I'd adopt them.
Bali, thank you! In fact, for the first time I saw them, I decided they had to live together. Bo and Shun ar all grown up now… these are old pics
They have found a person to take them, but I just could not gave them for adoption. But these two managed to scape from the neutering and spaying, and had babies. Two of the babies went to live with the person that once wanted to adopt Bo and Shun!
I'm envious. They are so adorable. My own cats don't like to cuddle to much.
