Matilda was rescued by the SPCA in Monterey County in California when she was only a few weeks old. "This little girl came in as a stray when she was about four weeks old," said Stacy, a staffer from the SPCA.
"I live with a couple of friends and one of them is a volunteer in the SPCA's foster program so Matilda came to our home for fostering. She is just about eight weeks old now so she is still being fostered by my friend for another couple of weeks until she can be spayed and placed up for adoption."
"She is an absolute delight to all of us. She is incredibly playful and can easily keep us entertained for hours with her kitty antics. She loves everyone and is content to perch on your shoulder or snuggle on your lap. When she is content she has a nice purr."
"She is a gorgeous kitty, so it is a blast to photograph her. One of my friend's coworkers saw her photos and instantly fell in love and can't wait to take her home as soon as she becomes available."
