Dusty the Klepto Kitty

Some of you might have heard of the thief that has been prowling in the neighborhood of San Mateo, California. No one is bothered by the little thief. In fact, when they find out something is missing, they know who took it. The little mysterious thief is a cat burglar named Dusty the Klepto Kitty who goes out every night and comes back with all kinds of “treasure” he finds at the neighbors’ houses. John Fulton from Animal Planet did an investigation in an attempt to catch Dusty in the act.

This is how it all unfolds:

It's so funny!! But really, I wouldn't let my cat roam outside in the dark. It's too dangerous.

My cat Bert used to steal the neighbors cat toys and Beanie Babies regularly! We'd return them and back they would come!

I wonder if it's a Siamese thing to steal stuff? In the 90s I owned a Siamix female named Coborro who would come home with socks, t-shirts, gardening gloves, bras, washcloths and even a lightweight dress once. Our front yard looked like a yard sale from all her trophies. Our neighbors tolerated it and we were greatly amused by her "hunting". She stole stuff 'till she passed away at sixteen, RIP.
