Maru is so handsome! I even named one of the stray cats after him, Brother Maru. It is funny that in a strange way, even though many of us have never seen or petted him in real life, we almost seem to have some ownership and pride in him, since he is such a fan favorite. Maru, you are a true rock star, friend, and I along with millions of others would love to adopt you– even if it is for one day, one hour….
Update on Brother Maru: he has lost almost half his hair, since he has some bad hair clumps, but the vet said he was just rubbing them off. So even though he is half hairless, he is doing great and almost has the top kinks out. [too imbedded and close to the skin for me cut it off] I have been waiting for it to warm up so I can shave him; he survived his second frigid SD [USA] winter outside, since there is no way I can bring him in to the house with my special needs cats. Bro Maru says "hi" to the cat that carries a part of his name like a septer.
