Gotta love this group. It’s great when cats and rodents become friends, so special. Cats and dogs getting along is pretty normal but cats and rats!

Years ago I had a cat and a rat at the same time and they were great friends. The rat used to chase the cat around the living room and then curl up by the cat’s belly and they would fall asleep together. When I had to have the rat put to sleep, the cat wandered around looking for him.
I now have a cat and two chinchillas. Homer the Cat will flirt with Marvin the chinchilla but completely ignores Daisy chinchilla. That cat ain’t right!
just wonder if your rat was toilet trained?
On my God, this is way I have total respect for animals! The conference is the best, do they have an agenda?
