It’s not declawed – at the end you can even see the claw coming out of the sheath. I think his claws are just very neatly trimmed.

One of my cats and the dog ‘used’ to wake me up for food and to go out in the morning about 30 minutes before the alarm clock would go off. They finally gave up doing that and just cuddle in next to me, knowing that it’s useless to try and wake me up before it’s time. Makes for a good way to start the day to wake up with all the pets snuggled up next to me!
