oh dear. too bad about the tree. but both cats are looking great! i guess oskar’s blindness makes him more adventurous. talk about leaping into the unknown!

  2. vix says:

Like I always say – you can’t keep a good cat down! Go Oskar!

  3. Robin says:

Just FYI-you can find half trees (Solutions catalogue) that you can hang on the wall. Originally created for people who do not have space for a full size tree but I can see how it would work in this situation as well:) Glad Oskar and Klaus found such a loving home.

  4. LizR says:

Just delightful and hysterical to watch and even nicer because Oskar is blind which obviously doesn’t slow him down.

Thank you for sharing and Merry Christmas to Oskar and Klaus and their wonderful humans

Our kitten, Morgana , enjoyed our tree trimming last night. Ours wasn’t staying upright for long either. We compromised. We removed the lights and tied the tree to the wall! Curiously, I don’t think she’s bothered it today. Either it was the light cords or her humans that made it so appealing

  9. Esme says:

Oskar you make me laugh. I had to take down my tree as my little boy was having fun chewing it.

  10. Sue says:

Priceless! my 7 year old kitty just became blind in July…so the Christmas tree this year is a bit of a challenge but he is figuring it out!

I love Oskar and Klaus! Just one thought, is the plant behind Oskar’s hooman real/and or toxic to kitties? I bet Oskar chews and I would be devastated if he or Klaus got sick:( Especially since they have such an amazing home!

Really wonderful video…& funny. I am retired & work as a pet sitter presently taking care of two blind little furry boys. The learning experience has been amazing. There really isn’t much these munchkins can’t do & they too are so inquisitive & into EVERYTHING. You should see them play! I fell in love the minute they arrived.
When I am ready adopt again in the future I am going to deliberately look for cats that are blind as well as senior. They’re just the best!! All the best of the season to Oslar, Klaus & their wonderful human family. X

Adorable video!! Oskar is a very lucky cat.

I think his owners should plant the Christmas tree in a heavy base (so it won’t tip over) and leave it up all year for Oskar to explore.

Merry Christmas to Oskar and his family! Just a suggestion, put a table in the corner of the room, then put the tree on top of it so the ‘naughty’ kitties would have a harder time getting up to it! Happy Holidays.

Oskar your Mommy is very very patient with your exploring. I would have given up and just watched the both of you climb and climb and picked it up for more climbing. I probably would have even left up it for a toy with the vacuum handy everyday. Fur babies got to love them.;)
