Kitty Feeding Frenzy

It’s a feeding frenzy. Sunshine the rescue cat mama has a litter of six very hungry mouths to feed. The diligent cat mama is literally buried underneath a pile of squirmy fuzzballs.

“Nom nom nom!!!”

That poor poor momma cat looks like a kitten herself. kind of sad. :-(

    • KAT says:

I have to agree… the momma doesn’t look mature yet… hope the owner is feeding the momma well so she can feed her babies.

  2. Druscilla says:

Oh my, so cute! :D Esp. the last pic! <3

  3. Lianne says:

Yeah, I feel kind of bad for her.

  4. Melanie says:

In the previous article about her, linked in the body of this article, it does say she’s only 8 months old, so you’re right, she is still a kitten herself.

  5. Faye & The NOLA Kitties says:

Yes, the Mama is still a kitten herself, but at least she and the babies are safe and will soon adopt good people.

  6. Lori says:

she’s only 8 months old?! poor girl, no wonder the second pic she has a look of “what did I get myself into?” I hope she will be a good mom and after she weens them, she’ll get spade.(good luck kitten mom)

  7. Carol says:

She’s being very tolerant, though. The mama kitty I had was very young, too, and she was an excellent mother to her little babies and even accepted 3 more that I had rescued.

The photos above just make me think of warm and fuzzy and vibrations from lots of purring! Such a sweet set of photos!

    Lunchtime kids…so sweet indeed

  9. Peggy says:

Good Mama kitty. I hope she is also getting plenty of good nutrition, rest, and love from her human family.

  10. pumbie says:

Yes, she looks tired, but all the troop precious; good luck for young mom, and, after this work, she deserves a good rest!,

  11. katie says:

Looks like she has her paws full, hope she gets to the Vet after this!!

  12. Sarah says:

I love the one little gray kitten. :) Sunshine looks like she’s doing a good job for being a young mama. Hopefully she’ll get spayed when those babies are weaned. :)

  13. Shelly Lyon says:

    What a precious family!

  14. KAT says:

  15. EREX94 says:

In the second picture the mama is like “HELP!” lol, all of these photos are adorable :D

  16. Stevie says:

  17. Purrito Purrpants says:

Oh my goodness. Cute but please spay & neuter!!!

  18. beckyl says:

i love the last pic with the kitten lying over mom’s neck. cat mamas put up with a lot! and give me the grey one!

    • C says:

The last picture scared me! I didn’t know what was at the top of the pic. Either Mommy’s head came off or a kitten looked weird! I finally decided it was a toy. Whew!

      • C says:

Now that I look at the last picture a lot closer, I see that it is a kitten on Mommy’s neck! Takes me a while.

  19. Katie G says:

Momma looks a tad overwhelmed in that second pic.

Oh, that poor little mama. My rescue cat looked like that when she had her kittens (one day after I found her and took her in). She was almost a kitten herself so the vet had me feeding her a lot of healthy food. Must have worked because I kept her and her littlest kitten. She stills weighs only 7 pounds, but at 8 years old “Baby Winkers” weighs 21 pounds. He is not fat, just big, but she still treats him like her kitten. So sweet to see.

  21. Peggy says:

Please take good care of the good mama kitty.

  22. C says:

The 1st picture is similar to a seek & find. Can you find the mommy?

  23. Monica says:

In The last pic, the mama’s head is thrown back, so what we are seeing is the underside of her jaw, and her kitten is lying across her throat. What a sweet little famil, but I hope that it is tat very young mamas last… * mos old is equal to a 14 y.o hooman having a baby

  24. nnua says:

She is a real trooper!! I am very glad that she & her kitties found hoomans to look after them. Thinking of young cat mummies like her having to deal with feeding her kits on the streets just freaks me out.
