Rufus the blind bobcat kitten made it safely at Big Cat Rescue sanctuary where he is given a lot of love, food and a permanent home.
Rufus is a rescue bobcat. You can read more about him here and watch him on live cam here.

I am so glad this wildlife rescue group exists and that they are treating Rufus with care and love but also with wariness and respect.
I love his wiggly little tail! So sweet!
He is all alone…he wants company, he’s just a baby cat!
What a spectacular story!
The quivering tail means happiness – I see it daily when kitty meals are being dished out!
This is very interesting because my school Ohio University’s mascot is a bobcat named…. Rufus.. how awesome.
I agree with Robin, it’s great! Rufus is lovely, and I wish him all the best! <3
So cute! I love all the different varieties of bobcats. Good luck to Rufus!
He is adorable and you guys are doing a great job.Hats-off to you guys
I realize that he is technically a wild animal, but he is so cute. I’m glad that he wound up where he could be helped.
yeah he is lonely. you can tell.
I WAS VERY HAPPY TO READ AT THE END THAT ONCE RUFUS IS FINISHED HIS VACCINATIONS,SHOTS SO ON, HE WILL BEABLE TO GO OUTSIDE!!
THE POOR THING IS BORED AND NEEDS FUR FRIENDS AND OUTSIDE TIME!!
SOOOO CUUUUUTE!!
Bless you guys for taking care of him. I hope he gets to enjoy the outdoors soon.
I love when he waggles his little tail!
You say you only are in contact with him when you have to be because he’s a wild animal but if he’s blind and will obviously not be able to survive in the wild then you should probably be interacting with him more because he seems like he wants to interact with you. He seems lonely (loves the heartbeat toy to cuddle up with) and went right past the smell of food to be near you – you turned him around and faced him to the food. He wants to interact and probably needs to.
I’m also concerned about his being in the wild alone. Thanks for pointing this out!
He’s still a young cat, so he’s probably looking for playmates. Hope his caretakers will play with him more.
Thank God there are rescue groups for wild cats like Rufus…they are doing a great job!!!
omg when i grow up i wanna work with animals hes so adorable
