A kind person found these two little helpless kittens behind his apartment, sitting in a box with a bowl of food that wasn’t the right type for their size. Even though at that time, he was not allowed to have pets in his apartment, he took the risk to bring them home, and the rest is history.
“My apartment near [where] I found them was no pets policy so it was a big risk, I could have been evicted or required to let them go but they never found out and I later moved into one that allowed my cats. So all good. Being in college, cost was important but I’ve come to love them too much to give them up,” said Freddocini via reddit.
When he discovered the kittens, they were in the box, and quickly he noticed the food which was sitting untouched. He realized that it was the wrong food for the kittens. “I found them in a cardboard box with the cotton balls and a bowl of food that was too big for them. I brought them home and got them cleaned because they had fleas, fed them some kitten milk and it went from there. [They] got vaccines and spayed and neutered. I’ve had them for about 4 years now and they [are] still cute as ever,” Freddocini added.
The gray kitty turned out to be a princess and the black and white boy is the naughty and vocal one in the house. They have come a long way “from stray kittens to the cats that I love so so much. My babies,” said Freddocini.

I absolutely do not understand people who abandon kittens. Although they did give them a sort of shelter and some food, they were still abandoned, and how can anybody do that! But great kudos on the wonderful person who rescued these adorable babies.

Thank goodness there are people (like all of us here) that could never abandon an animal, especially babies and would do just what Freddocini did. I will never understand how someone could do this. Granted the person left them food – but even if they had been able to eat it how long would that food have lasted? Plus there is no way they could have defended themselves. They have grown up to be beautiful cats that will repay the OP many times over for saving them!

They are so sweet! It breaks my heart to know that they were abandoned as the were but so happy that the ‘right” person found them and cared for them. You can be proud of your beautiful cats and of yourself for doing the caring thing. They are a special gift to you, a special person!

God knew what He was doing whene the young man found these beautiful babies. The resiquier was very smart to put bottle of warm water with them. They grew up to be happy babies.

BTW: we once applied to rent, and were accepted, for a single family home. The owner was against pets, but relented when I said my cat was ‘old.’ Of course, I didn’t tell her about the other four! Two years after we moved in she discovered we had five cats. With no odors and no destruction her reaction to the deceit was, ‘oh, I see he multiplied.’
Yes, it could have been horrible, but luckily for us everything worked out fine.
