Three tiny kitties were saved by the workers from CT public works department. Robert Williams and his coworker felt something moving inside a shoe box and initially thought there was a rat. When he opened the box, he discovered three tiny kittens inside.
The kittens were immediately taken to the New England Veterinary Center where the vet determined them to be around 4 weeks old and treated them for respiratory conditions.
The kittens will be up for adoption through Animal Friends of Connecticut in West Hartford in a few weeks.

How people can think that these sweet little creatures are just trash is beyond me. Poor mama is still out there and so badly needs to be spayed. But bless the worker who found them and the vet hospital to take them in. happy life little ones

Oh,poor babies! I used to work in West Hartford and I am happy to think of good people there saving kitties.
That really pisses me off. I think people who treat precious animals like that should be strung up by their toenails permanently and that’s being nice!

Its so sad to know there are people who still think animals are disposal. This kind of things happen every day but least this little set of fur babies have a second chance – how lucky they are! A big THANK YOU to the workers that saved these little ones. May they only peace & joy in their lives!
I agree Ursulina, Its a sad fact of life that some idiots think of such little cuties as those 3 as simply something you can throw in the trash! It is wrong in so many ways that people do that sort of thing.
Omg who would do such a terrible thing?? Poor kittens. Thank god for those amazing workers. Even if there’s cruel people in this world, there’s also compassionate ones! Such a heartwarming story. I hope the kittens find a permanent home soon.
Sweet kitty babies…so glad those men found them. I am amazed actually because where we live, the sanitation workers never even handle the trash, the automatic arm on the truck just picks up the cans and dumps the stuff in the back.
