Whenever I think that the world is doomed to disintegrate because of human self serving pettiness… I’m going to think of those high school kids. By gum, I wish I could hug everyone who worked on Flipper’s cart.

You got that right. It never ceases to amaze me of man’s wrath and cruelty to our beloved animals, but when I see these kids joining together and helping a misfortunate creature, such as Flipper, then I know that there is hope for us and that makes my day. We hear so many bad stories of abandoned animals in cars, trashcans, city dumps, on the side of the road, in a rain drain, etc.. Omg it kills my heart, it really does, and at that time I feel like there is no hope, but stories such as these remind me that there are those who will fight w/ me to make sure that there is hope for us..

I’m sure this was a labor of love for these young fellows. Thanks guys. Not just Flipper but all of us have benefited from your efforts……..

What a great story! I just wonder why Flipper is shown panting? Does she also have a cardiac issue?

P.S. Flipper is female, so it should be ‘she’ in the headline and text above.

  20. stephanie rausch says:

That is such a sweet story! Flipper looked so happy running around with the cart! That was very sweet of those high school kids to build the cart for Flipper! I want to say Thank you, to the kids & doctor’s who have helped this cute little kitty! I wish there could be more good people like them!

    • Amber Mac says:

Amen to that. I agree 100% and I pray that there will be more stories such as these and less of the ones we’d just assume never happened. It never ceases to amaze me of man’s wrath and cruelty but when I see these kids joining together and helping out that kitty then I know that there is hope for us all…

  21. Mitch says:

Poor Flipper. Stressed as hell (That is why she was panting) Great kids to think of her, but will take her a while to get used to the cart. Looked like she was running away from it!
Looking forward for an update in the near future.

  30. Amber Mac says:

God bless those kids. When I got thru watching that video my heart was filled with elation and my eyes with tears. I am a cat lover, I also foster them, own 3 and take care of a feral colony of 6. It never ceases to amaze me of man’s cruelty to animals, but when I see our young adult’s standing up, such as these kids, and doing something for the greater good that doesn’t benefit them in any way whatsoever, except in their hearts, then I know that there is hope for us and that makes me smile.

  31. Julee says:
