A kind man keeps the mosque's doors open for stray cats to give them shelter and keep them warm.
Many stray cats and kittens have found a warm home in a mosque in Istanbul, Turkey according to the dodo. The doors are always wide open for the little furry friends to roam in freely so they can have shelter and food.
Since last year, Imam Mustafa Efe has welcomed in these forgotten kitties into the mosque. When the weather gets cold, he wants the stray cats to have a warm place to stay so he keeps the doors open for them.
One of the stray cats has made the mosque his home.
Imam calls the kitties "guests" of the mosque.
A stray cat mama carried her kittens into the mosque and started raising her babies there. "The kitty has found the heart of compassion and mercy," he wrote in a Facebook post.
