A little kitten found herself in the middle of the road. Her eyes were crusted shut and she couldn't see where she was going. When a young woman spotted the kitten, she immediately pulled her car over and rushed to get the kitten to safety.
"She was crossing the road (4 lanes), her eyes were shut closed… When I first picked her up in the middle of the road, she had flu, fleas and a cough," Nessa shared with Love Meow.
"But she had a strong will to live."
In the weeks that followed, she nursed the little kitten back to health. The kitty named Ramona could open her eyes more and more each day, and slowly she regained her vision. She couldn't see very well through her right eye, but the little fur buddy let nothing slow her down.
They gave her a little friend to cuddle with while she was getting treatment for her eyes.
"Best decision I ever made in my entire 22 years of life!" Nessa added.
She fell asleep in her human dad's arms.
