Would you let your cat ride the bus? My cats are spoiled indoor kitties, but if you let your cat outside, who knows where he goes! Casper the cat, a 12yr old UK resident, is a regular on his local bus route. His owner wondered at his daily disappearances and just recently discovered where he’s been off to. At first she was quite worried, though relieved to learn that the driver and passengers all watch out for him. The driver says the polite cat waits patiently in line but he doesn’t pay the fare. However, since passengers over 65 ride for free, Casper more than qualifies, being that he is 111 in cat years! I suppose a car/bus ride that doesn’t end in shots or prodding at the vet are a nice, relaxing change of scenery for a cat.
