Jasper is one affectionate cat who loves to give his human hugs and kisses!

Michael writes: “This is Jasper our 1 rescue cat who is now 7 months old. He was a runt and rejected by his mother. He is so loving and adorable. As you will see with the video he likes to give lots of love anytime of the day or night. Here he is demanding affection from my Tenant.”

A man rescued a cat from an abusive home and helped her trust again. Now every time he comes to visit Fancy the cat, she snuggles up to him. “My rescue cat stayed with my parents when moved out, she gets so clingy when I visit!” he wrote. (reddit)

“Due to her last home being very abusive, her emotional state is very quirky. It took me about three months to get her to come out from under the bed. I placed her food and water and litter box under there until she was ready.

She’s been with my parents for nearly two years and they spoil her rotten, plus her Boston Terriers love Fancy to death. When I moved in with my wife she had a little dog that plays way to rough and I fear Fancy would not be able to handle him. Every time I visit my parents I spend as much time as possible with Fancy.”

As a college student living on campus, she is not allowed to have pets in her dorm room, but the love and affection from the shelter cat has really touched her, and now she’s in the process of bringing the kitty to her mother’s home.

She was volunteering at the Potsdam Humane Society and a little tabby cat gave her the most affectionate hug.

Marmalade the cat was found a feral. He was at a farm for 3 years, scavenging on any food he could find and living under some caravans until he met a person that changed his life.

“I went to work on this farm in the Summer of 2012 and we sort of found each other at a time when we needed each other… He was extremely scared of people, and the other people there told me that I would never get near him. But we found each other at a time of need and now have an amazing bond!”

“Day by day I built up his trust, but the owner of the property did not like cats.” She left that place of work and took the cat with her. “He is now happily living with me forever!”
