Meet Toby the kitty. His human mom went to the pound to pick up a dog for a rescue, but when she saw Toby the little orphan, she fell in love, and the rest is history.

“He was about 2 weeks old, had only one eye open, and couldn’t really walk or eat. The ones that young at the shelter never make it, so we pulled him to see if we could nurse him and keep him alive,” said the human mom via reddit.

Today Toby is living with his canine siblings at his forever loving home.

Hobbes’ foster parent wrote via reddit: The kitten was abandoned then taken to an animal shelter. I foster kittens that are too young to be adopted, and he’s doing quite well! …he will not be weened until he’s at least 3 1/2 weeks. The kitten behind him is 5 weeks old, also another foster.

Meet Hobbes! Don’t you just want to take him home?

Four wee foster kittens are exploring around for the first time. They stick together in a pack wherever they go like a cute furry troop.

These healthy little siblings and their rescue cat mama “will be seeking warm, safe, loving forever homes in a matter of weeks.”

Update: They all have been adopted.

“Reeses is a good little eater … no difficulty with latching on and eats just as much as her siblings. She is smaller, and still a bit weaker, but getting stronger,” said Heather S on her blog.

After a full belly of noms. “Don’t go pawese!”

“We were fortunate to find good homes for all of the 4 kittens. Believe it or not, my little Maltese, Rosie, cleaned their faces and kept guard over the kittens while I cared for them,” said Janet.
