Ziggy was rescued from a shelter along with his cat mama who was not able to produce milk, so his foster mom Kimberly J. came to the rescue. This is Ziggy quacking along after just having a bottle of nommies.

A litter of tiny gray kittens were given a second chance at life before they were even born.

The owner of the mother cat wasn’t interested in having the kittens, and unwilling to let the cat mom give birth and found a vet to do the spay-abort.  “Apparently the mama was someone’s pet, and unspayed, and they were getting help from the SPCA to get a low-cost spay done,” said Kimberly Jennery from Bitten By A Kitten Rescue, a small rescue group in San Pablo, California. The vet who handled this case really tried to arrange it so that it allowed the mother to give birth, but the owner didn’t want the kittens, so Kimberly came to the rescue and took in the litter of six.

“They are getting fatter by the minute and turning into real little kitten persons! They are 4 boys, and 2 girls.”

Linus is one of the four kittens that were found at a garage sale, but got a second chance at life thanks to the rescue efforts from Kate and Anje, and Kimberly who keeps the fuzzy little ones happy and well fed every single day at her foster care.

Linus has a way to melt people’s hearts and it works every time. The look on his face constantly demands love. Even Kimberly’s house cats can’t resist this furry little brother from a different mother.

These tiny kittens were dropped off at a garage sale one weekend. When Kate S. discovered the furry little ones, she was determined to help them find the perfect foster home.

Kate found a rescue who could take care of the kitties, since four 2-week-old kittens can be very demanding. Her friend Anje T. immediately contacted an experienced fosterer Kimberly Jennery who has fostered countless baby kittens. “We’re kind of full up already, but… well, it was definitely meant to be,” said Kimberly J..

So the journey began. Kimberly bottle fed the fuzzy little ones every two hours round the clock along with a few other foster kittens that she currently cares for. It’s a full house of fuzzy cuteness and surely keeps Kimberly and her family’s hands full, but seeing how quickly the kitties grow and thrive, it’s absolutely rewarding.

This is a story of two kittens rescued from being very sick to getting better in a matter of hours. What love and care can do to change the lives of these lovely furry babies!

Kimberly Jennery wrote on her facebook:

On Friday a friend of a friend (who is now a friend) came over with three bottle baby kittens they found, and planned to keep, for some help getting them going. He contacted me mid-day that one of them had labored breathing, and we Skyped. When I saw her, I didn’t think it looked good, but told him to bring her over and we’d see what I could do. Sadly, the kitten passed before he left the house.

A couple of hours ago he IMed me to let me know the other two were listless now, and I told him to come right over, which he did. I subqed them, tube-fed them, and gave them each some Karo on the gums. The boy responded pretty readily, after a half hour or so. The girl was totally limp for probably a good 90 minutes, and just started showing maybe some interest in sticking around to see what her story might be on this world…

It’s like they’re totally different kittens. Totally alert and tromping and wondering what all the fuss was about. Grey boy sucked down 13ccs all on his own, and Eve took down 5 naturally, and is about to get a few more via tube until she is up to snuff :)

Less-cautiously optimistic for them now. Keep the good thoughts coming :)

Willow is one of the two foster babies that were brought to Kimberly J.. They are thriving and growing like weeds in their foster home.

“I love having bottle babies again! It’s tricky getting pictures of myself bottlefeeding, but these two are really good latchers, so I managed it,” said Kimberly J..

Cassie and Apollo are two orphan kittens found their way into a lovely foster home where they bonded like no other. They play, sleep and eat together every single day without leaving each other out of their eye shot.

Just two weeks ago, they were adopted together. “They are super happy at their forever home, and so are their people,” said Kimberly Jennery, their foster mom.

When they were still wee kittens, they found each other:
