Derby the tiny gray kitten with white paws was found without a mother. Thundercats TNR took in the little orphan and brought him to Bushwick Bark located in Brooklyn, NYC.
At the same time, a feral cat mother Annalisegave birth to a litter of three kittens in one of their humane TNR traps. “We brought Derby home Saturday night and added him to the litter,” said Bushwick Bark.

A tiny one week old kitten came to an animal clinic without a mom.
“My girlfriend is a vet. Someone dropped off this 1 week old kitten,” said TeddyPeep via reddit. They named him Orange Pekoe.
“It was tough bottle feeding Pekoe and fortunately, we found a mother who had just had a litter of kittens for him to nurse with. He’s been WAY happier,” he added. “She’s a really sweet momma kitty. As soon as we got her home, she flopped down for the babies to eat. It was pretty darn cute.” (reddit)
“Pekoe loves sitting in our laps and he purrs CONSTANTLY.” After fostering the little ginger kitty for a period of time, they simply couldn’t part with him.
Meet Orange Pekoe! He was just 1 week old when he was dropped off at the vet’s. They took him home and started caring for him round the clock.
They found Pekoe a surrogate mom, and she laid down and let him nurse right away. “Our kitten looks SO content that he has a surrogate momma kitty.”

Orange Pekoe is such a momma’s boy. After fostering him for a period of time, they simply couldn’t part with him. He’s there to stay forever!
A rescue cat mama was introduced to a tiny orphan kitten who was in need of some motherly love. “Everything went better than expected!”
Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue wrote: “He was the only kitten born to a senior momma, she rejected him and he spent the first 15 hours of his life without food or warmth. A wonderful lady in the animal rescue community took him in and put out the call on facebook to try and find a nursing mother to place him with.
My friend had just taken in a mother with 4-week-old kittens from another rescuer, so our organization offered to take him. He’s done amazingly well and bonded with all his siblings and mom. He is now reserved for adoption and is a fat, adorable ball of fluff who loves getting his tummy scratched.”

They found him a cat mama who was recently taken in from another rescuer. When they introduced them together, the momma took to the little orphan kitten and started caring for him like her own.
Tiny calico kitten Pigeon was found abandoned at a pigeon supply shop. Jimmy, an animal rescuer, took her into his foster care. A few weeks later, they found Merlin, an orphan baby kitten who was in need of some motherly love. When Pigeon and Merlin met, it was an instant bond.
